Basic Life Support Course
This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
Each year, more than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the United States. Only about 46% of people who experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest get the immediate help that they need before professional help arrives.
The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
The course is approximately 4 hours, including skills practice and skills testing.
All Instructors are current AHA ACLS/BLS Certified Instructors.
AHA BLS Course Completion Card is valid for two years.
